Maco Market
Where Caribbean Meets Illustration
Although the Maco Market branding already existed, I was brought on to develop a series of custom illustrations and campaign visuals that added a more playful, story-driven, and culturally rooted layer to the brand.
Because the market itself was held in Woodbrook, Trinidad, the artwork drew directly from the culture, energy, and character of the surrounding neighbourhood. Using a loose, hand-sketched illustration style, the visuals were designed to capture the warmth, vibrancy, and everyday charm of Caribbean life in a way that felt playful, expressive, and deeply connected to place.
Across three social media campaigns and a custom tumbler series, the illustrations helped add a more human and culturally rooted layer to the existing brand experience.
The artwork was carried beyond social media into a custom tumbler series turning the illustrations into collectible pieces inspired by the colour, culture, and character of the market itself.
Blending illustration with cultural storytelling, the project introduced a more human and expressive visual layer to the Maco Market experience bringing warmth, movement, and personality into every touchpoint.
